Check out Weta Digital's Tissue system video interview used to build muscles, skin, and fat for creatures in such films as Avatar, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Prometheus and The Hobbit: An Unexpected.
This video goes over the facial setup on Danny character. The rig features cartoon like deformation to produce exaggerated facial expression and emotion.
Check out the making of Gollum. Very impressive! See the deformation on the character. There must be tons of corrective shapes driving the realistic expression of the character.
"The Red Panda: Disaster Risk Reduction Mascot" is an animated project by Incessant Rain Animation Studio, Nepal. Good job by former team members. Check it out!
Here is a quick pose test for Charlie by one of my student. Charlie features in Puppeteer Lounge's Cartoony Facial Setup workshop. The rig features advance layer based deformation controls for intuitive and cartoon like articulation.
Really handy tool for skinning. Brilliant stuff. Skinning is based on layered approach pretty much like photoshop. Go ahead and check it out. You will love it once you get hang of it :)
Basically the consultant service is similar to the online workshop, however with consultant service you get to learn with your team on production related task at your studio or company. The consultant service goes over review, mentor-ship, guidance and supervision with artist working at studio and production house.

using animation and it documents the making of an animated short with a
wonderful score by Hans Karl.
